We offer high-performance non-corrosive and anti-slip GRP grating, duct covers, fenders, ladders, handrailing and structures which are ideally suited to the harsh and slippery conditions of ports, marinas, commercial shipping, aquaculture, piers and promenades. When used as marina, walkway or pontoon flooring, the anti-slip surface is rigorously tested to withstand even the wettest and oiliest conditions, proven to reduce by a mere 5% after 1.1 million footfalls.
The load capacity is extremely high, making it perfect for areas with high footfall. It also provides excellent impact resistance and exceptional traction on walkways subject to tidal inclines. Our market-leading d2 Dura Grating is available in Micro Mesh, Mini Mesh and Standard Mesh varieties, it offers improved light transmittance to support the needs of diverse marine life. The aperture sizes comply with BS 4592 and the European 20mm Ball Falling Test to ensure maximum safety – and the hard-wearing anti-slip surface is suited to wheeled cargo vehicles, baggage trollies and passenger wheelchairs. We also offer a Solid Top (covered) variant for areas of high public foot traffic, or where no visibility to the water is required.
Our product ranges require no painting or treating over their long lifetime and in many cases are suitable for new build projects, or as a replacement for degraded timber decking where safe anti-slip qualities are required, thanks to their proven ability to withstand the harsh side effects of marine conditions better than traditional materials such as timber or steel.
